Directory & Registry Rules HIC-600

Rules for publication, verification, suspension and removal of certification records.

§1

Public record

A certification claim must be verifiable.

The public directory exists to provide an authoritative record of certificate scope, status, standard version, assessment date and validity period.

Registry requirements

Clear status. Clear evidence. Clear accountability.

HIC-600-R01

Unique record

Each certificate shall have a unique, persistent verification identifier.

HIC-600-R02

Scope disclosure

The record shall identify the assessed website, scope and applicable standard version.

HIC-600-R03

Status accuracy

Active, expired, suspended and withdrawn states shall be clearly distinguished.

HIC-600-R04

Change history

Material status changes shall remain traceable.

Enforcement

Certification cannot outlive compliance.

Review

Reassessment

Certificates are reviewed at the stated interval or after material change.

Control

Suspension

A record may be suspended while serious nonconformity is investigated.

Integrity

Withdrawal

False claims, unresolved nonconformity or misuse may result in withdrawal.
